My name is Timothy McGrath and I am a celebrant from Kilternan in Dublin Ireland. I run and own celebrants Ireland Below is a little piece on my journey thus far.

After becoming a Celebrant in 2015 I realised that my journey to something bigger had begun.  I started celebrants Ireland in June 2015 after I completed my training to become a Celebrant.  I knew I was not finished though as my journey had only begun. This led me to begin training to become a legal solemniser, which I became in September 2021. My work also includes, Weddings, Funerals and Naming Ceremonies and running the very busy www.celebrantsireland.com

At Celebrants Ireland we have Celebrants in every County, so please contact us and we will pair you with the appropriate Celebrant for your big day.

Every facet of my celebrant work is shown the same degree of love, respect, confidentiality, and diligence. I feel truly blessed to work in all these areas and it is also a huge honour and privilege.

I am a legal Solemniser so can perform all legal duties for your wedding day.  As can  all our wonderful Celebrants, as we are all  registered with the HSE.

About me

Before I became a celebrant I was, and still am  a working musician, drummer/ percussionist. I have been fortunate enough to tour the world with many great artists, and now I have another wonderful part of my life to love, being a celebrant. I have played with artists including Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey, Sixteen Layers, Jerry Fish & many more...

I have toured worldwide supporting U2, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, David Gray, R.E.M. & The Pretenders and many more. I have met people from all corners of the world and this has helped me to cultivate a real interest in the human condition and what makes us tick. I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes

"Hello Tim, We got some photos from the photographer from the wedding and I picked out a few for you. We had the most fantastic day. The ceremony was perfect, it was very personal, we loved the readings, the candle ceremony the prayers and how you put the ceremony together. You had the guests in tears, and filled with laughter at different points during the ceremony. Our guests really enjoyed it and so did we.
